Lagoon 2015

My Aunt Jen and cousin McKinley invited me to go to Lagoon with them and I was so excited.  I absolutely love amusement parks and Lagoon just makes me feel like a kid. I went on every ride with Kinners and had just the best day with her. The one ride that always gets me is the Rocket- Reentry. It takes you so high and is so sketch. Pretty sure I almost squeezed her hand off. Haha. One thing I did for the first time was have one of those saloon girl photos taken. They get one every year so it was fun to be in it with her. I need to get my aunt to send me the rest of the pictures she took but here's our fun old one!

Payson Temple

I went to the Payson temple open house with my grandparents and it was so awesome. It was the first open house I had ever been to and I loved it.  The Payson temple is the prettiest temple I have ever been in and I can't wait till I get to do baptisms there. The baptistry walls are covered with a woodland mural with forest animals in the background and is the coolest baptistry I have ever seen. The Celestial room was also breathtaking and I can't wait for the day I am able to go there.

Can't forget me posing with Flat Stanley for one of my cousins back in Chicago. Hahaha

The Grand Canyon

I'm taking spring classes this year so after winter semester finals, we had a 3 day break before classes started again.  A few friends and I decided to take advantage and we took a trip to the Grand Canyon. It basically rained the whole time and even one night snowed...but it was still so fun.  The Grand Canyon was absolutely breathtaking and I'm still pretty sure it's a green screen. It's just too cool to be real.  One day we hiked down Bright Angel trail and it was so beautiful. One day I hope to hike from rim to rim which is like 24 miles or something close to that. That's the ultimate goal! It was also really cool to meet people from all over the world. I saw Chris Pratt's dopelganger although I'm not entirely positive that it wasn't Chris Pratt himself. Unfortunately he was going down when I was going up so I couldn't walk with him and find out the truth.

6 & 7

In the past month, I have added two state signs to my bucket list item "get my picture taken by all 50 state signs".  That brings me up to 7/50.  Still a long way to go but I'm getting there. Slowly but surely!

Go Avs Go

Oh my goodness. One of my dreams came true last Thursday. I went to a Colorado Avalanche game!! The Avs didn't make the playoffs this year but they were still so great to watch and they are going to come back next year and kick some major butt. Connor, Max, and I left at 4am on Thursday morning and met my dad in Fort Collins before driving down to Denver. We walked around 16th street mall before going over to the Pepsi Center. Our seats were right behind the penalty box and it was so great.  I literally cried when the players came out on the ice, I was so excited. I'm way too emotional for my own good, I know.  The Avs ended up winning 1-0 in a shootout and it was great.  The whole game I just couldn't believe that I was there and that the players were right in front of me.  It was such a fabulous night with family that I am never ever going to forget. We then spent Friday exploring Denver, eating some great food and going bowling.  It was fun to just have family time.  The weekend before finals may have been a crazy time to take a roadtrip, but it was perfect.  I'm still on a high. Hopefully it will carry me all the way through finals.

The view when I first sat down.

Warm up!

Face Off!

Avs win!!

#1 star -- Reto Berra!

See You Again

I finally went and saw Furious 7 and it didn't disappoint. This song/video that they play at the end was one of the most touching things I had seen in a while.  So great.
