6 & 7

In the past month, I have added two state signs to my bucket list item "get my picture taken by all 50 state signs".  That brings me up to 7/50.  Still a long way to go but I'm getting there. Slowly but surely!

Go Avs Go

Oh my goodness. One of my dreams came true last Thursday. I went to a Colorado Avalanche game!! The Avs didn't make the playoffs this year but they were still so great to watch and they are going to come back next year and kick some major butt. Connor, Max, and I left at 4am on Thursday morning and met my dad in Fort Collins before driving down to Denver. We walked around 16th street mall before going over to the Pepsi Center. Our seats were right behind the penalty box and it was so great.  I literally cried when the players came out on the ice, I was so excited. I'm way too emotional for my own good, I know.  The Avs ended up winning 1-0 in a shootout and it was great.  The whole game I just couldn't believe that I was there and that the players were right in front of me.  It was such a fabulous night with family that I am never ever going to forget. We then spent Friday exploring Denver, eating some great food and going bowling.  It was fun to just have family time.  The weekend before finals may have been a crazy time to take a roadtrip, but it was perfect.  I'm still on a high. Hopefully it will carry me all the way through finals.

See You Again

I finally went and saw Furious 7 and it didn't disappoint. This song/video that they play at the end was one of the most touching things I had seen in a while.  So great.

How is it already April?

First off, where the heck did March go? It lasted like 2 seconds.  But saying that, I happily welcome April because it's a straight up good month.  On the 2nd, Randi and I went to the Dan + Shay concert.  They never fail to amaze me.  I am so stoked for them to come out with another album seeing as their first one is pure perfection.  Friday night I went with Rand to her fundraiser dinner for her trip to Thailand this summer. I aslo spent Easter with Rand and her mom.  We went to La Caille, this beautiful fancy restaurant in the mountains in Sandy.  It was crazy pretty and the buffet was bomb.  Such a great weekend!

Mills and I went to the new Sodalicious that is an actual building and not just the back of a barbershop and it was lame.  The OG Sodalicious is where it's at.

Color Festival 2015

This was my 3rd year going to the Color Festival.  There is just something about throwing colored corn starch as strangers.  Haha I went with Randi for the 2nd year in a row and we had a blast.  My face got extra covered this year which was really weird. It was a beautiful day and just a nice break from school!

I got to go home this last weekend to go to Aldin's farewell. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures with him cause I'm lame but it was such a great weekend. On Friday and Saturday I got to hang out with my 4 wonderful siblings and my lovely Mama. One night, we made S'mores using the firepit Kyle's friend Alex's family got us for Christmas.  Seriously one of the best presents ever! Another night we spent playing Skipbo. My mom proved her love to me by making her delicious potato salad and we caught up on our favorite TV shows together.  Sunday we went to Aldin's farewell. He gave a great talk and then we had a get together at their house. I love living near cousins! They are so much fun.  That night we all got together and played a game of capture the flag in the church parking lot and then some other board games. That's my kind of party! It's always hard coming back to school after such a great weekend home but the end of the semester is quickly approaching and I have some fun filled next couple of weeks. Life is good, my friends.
