Milly gave me the cutest present for my 21st -- a variety of alcohol. Hahaha I got some light BEER, shot glasses, natural spring VODKA and some lime slices. It was so creative and it sure helped get the party started :)

21 years blessed!
Like most people, I am a HUGE fan of my birthday. It is a day that is basically all about me. But let's be real. It's more like a whole week of celbration. I started out by spending a fun weekend with Randi (see last post) what I forgot to show was this awesome 21 glass she got me. Sunday the Broncos lost and it was sad, Monday was just school... but then on Tuesday the real fun began. I woke up at 5:04 am since that's what time I was born but only long enough to think, "I'm 21. Sweet!" before I fell back asleep. That's what college does to ya. Haha later I woke up to a few text messages wishing me a happy birthday. BEST WAY TO WAKE UP EVER! I love feeling loved. Haha Throughout the day I continued to receive texts and Facebook posts. I even got a cookie from a friend in class which was such a wonderful surprise. Later my grandparents took me out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. My Aunt Colleen and Milly came and it was great. Great food, great people, great reason to celebrate :) I am pretty sure however that my grandpa only chose to take me there as payback for the one time we went on his birthday and made him sit on the saddle. He was ready with his cowboy hat and everything for me. It was such a great end to such a wonderful day. Crazy to think I am now 21. I still think its 2012 and I'm 18. One of these days I'm sure it will sink in.
On Wednesday I came home to this awesome surprise. My grandparents cute friend Irene made this for me. It's chocolate cake with chocolate chips with chocolate frosting. Talk about heaven. I was so touched that she did this for me. It was so sweet!

On Thursday I came home to my grandpa telling me I had mail. (basically my favorite thing to hear ever!) The envelope was addressed to Jordan Eickbush 'The Basement' with a return address of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I've been waiting since my 11th birthday to receive a letter from them and it finally came but with an unexpected twist. The secret recipe to their famous Butterbeer. Now that I am 21 and all. I seriously love Minerva. *cough JaNae cough* :)

On Friday I got to go to dinner with some friends. Erica, Mari and Laurel. We went to The Old Spaghetti Factory which is an all time favorite of mine and it was so fun to just eat and catch up. I even got a birthday balloon crow!n Unfortunately no pictures :(

Never Stop the Party
My first week of school was basically awful. I started on Monday and then woke up on Tuesday morning sick as can be. I spent all day barfing and had to miss my first day of those classes. So after that whole stress and just the awfulness of barfing, I was ready for a fun weekend. On Thursday night I hung out with Milly. We got take-out Thai (I mean, what's metter than massaman curry?), watched Friends, and got Mint Chocolate Chip ice-cream. It was the perfect night of relaxing and good fun.
On Friday I went up to SLC to hang out with Randi. We spent the day jamming and making homemade eclairs. On Saturday we went up to Park City. One of Randi's friends has a house up in Deer Valley and it was absolutely beautiful. We went and watched the World Cup Mogul finals which was crazy. I was just amazed as I watched the athletes make their way down the huge slope. The speed at which they go is absolutely amazing. It snowed
lightly the whole time and was just absolutely perfect. After the finals, it started snowing harder and they did fireworks and it was basically just everything I love in life.
